• They keep running into each other.

• 大 is seriously concerned - this kid shouldn’t be getting involved in what he’s doing for many many reasons.

有: Onii-san is so obsessed with that old man, he never looks at me.

• 大 isn’t looking but 有 has never looked happier in his life.
• Akiko is starting to get concerned

• 大 has not agreed to stop his revenge on 市場前, but 有 is acting like a plucky young detective’s assistant and it’s definitely a hinderance.
• 有 asks questions constantly, wanting to know who he is, why 大 hates him so much, etc.
• 大 eventually answers that he’s the man that killed the love of his life.
• 有 hugging 大 and acting so upset.

有: I’m sorry you lost someone so important to you Oosaki-san. But please don’t throw your life away. There’s people that love you.

• 有 holding 大 palm to his cheek, positioning it so his thumb is just touching his lips.
  • Licking his lips slightly (because they’re dry, of course.)
• 有 seeing how desperate 大 and how he’s getting worse and worse and eventually 有 kills 市場前 himself.
  • He’s hoping that if it really comes to it, he’ll get a reduced sentence due to his age.
• 大 arrives just too late to stop him.
• 大 desperately wants to take the fall for him.
• 有 squeezing 大 as tight as he can.

有: Oosaki-san saw it right? Shijoumae-san was trying to force Shoutarou into doing things. I was just protecting myself. Shijoumae-san probably would have killed me, wouldn’t he? He’d have done such horrible things to Shoutarou if he hadn’t protected himself. He killed the one Oosaki-san loved before, he’d definitely do it again!

• 大, still in shock and extremely vulnerable to anything 有 suggests now feeling even worse thinking 市場前 was about to do something to 有 and he hadn’t been there to protect him.
• Is now even more desperate to take the blame. Promising to turn himself in and for 有 to pretend they never met. That he knows nothing about 市場前 or 大.

有 Doesn’t Remember

• 有 tries really hard to hide how happy he is to hear that whoever 大 loved is dead, meaning he’s single and available.

Love of his life? Not in the way.

Kind and sensitive guy? Check.

Would do literally anything for love? Check.

• Starts asking questions trying to find out what kind of guy 大 likes.

有: Oosaki-san, was your beloved younger than you?

大: No.

有, internally: FUCK.

• 大 would usually think he doesn’t have type (有 is his only love), but as time passes, he’s starting to worry he does.

有 Remembers

• 有 recognised 大 and remembered everything the second he saw him.
• He only asks questions to play dumb around 大, knowing 大 won’t believe he’s 有.
• When 大 is promising to turn himself in, 有 is a mixed of worried about losing 大 again and so pissed that he’d turn himself in for a random child.

有: You’re really going to turn yourself in for some random kid?

大: Shoutarou, you’re not just a random child. You killed the man who killed my wife. This is the least I can do.

有: No! You can’t go to jail when we’ve found each other again!

• 有 tries to come clean about the fact he’s 有, and he’s remembered this whole time.
• 大 panics, thinking 嘉太郎 has convinced himself he’s 有 based on the things 大 has told him about 有.
  • Of course he’d noticed 勝太郎 had feelings for him, but he never thought it would go so far as him deluding himself or killing 市場前.
  • He should have never let him get this involved. He should have pushed him away harder. He should have stopped them ever meeting again.
  • He already felt he was betraying 有 by getting close to 勝太郎 and now…
• He didn’t even kil 市場前 like he promised. He’s truly failed 有.
• 有 desperate to prove it, telling 大 every horrible thing he ever did in his past life, not knowing how much 大 found out since he’d never tell a child such things.
• It makes sense, but 大 is still in shock and there’s so much happening and he’s extremely overwhelmed and the only thing he can make sense of is needing to protect 勝太郎.
• 有 eventually tells him if he turns himself in, he’ll kill himself.
• 大 agrees not to turn himself in, but gets dragged along as 有 insists they have to run away together before they get caught.
• It takes a few hours of driving for 大 to calm down enough to start thinking again.

大: What about your family?

有: What about them?

有: You’re my family now. _{You’re going to be my husband.}

• 大 is thinking about how he’ll apologise to 新木場 when he’s in jail for kidnapping.
• They’re somewhat passing for father and son though people are raising their eyebrows a bit at them holding hands.
• 有 putting a sling on and 大 panicking asking him to take it off in case people think he caused it.

有: No one would think that. Everyone can tell you’re a kind and gentle person. They’d just appreciate how caring you are, looking after me when I’m injured.

• 大 looks awful. He’s barely ate or slept properly in years and he’s currently stressed to Hell worrying about getting caught and anything happening to 有.
  • Everyone is very much intimidated by him and the only thing making them less intimidated is his cute “son” looking so happy.
• 清 catches up to them to ask 大 what’s going on.
• 清 promises he’ll pay off the cops to keep them off them.
  • 大 apologises for all the trouble he’s caused him.
  • 清 assures him it’s a wonderful break-up, as long as he gets to hear all about their happy married life.
    • He won’t.
  • In all honesty, he’ll take 大 having this much will to live as a celebration after all these years.
• 大 tries to convince 有 to go back with 清.
  • Neither 有 nor 清 really want that.

  大: Shoutarou-kun, you should go back with Shi-

  有: Papa, look! The cakes are so big!! Uncle, you’ll buy me one, right?

  清: I’ll buy you the whole store if you want!

  • 清 telling 有 he wants married life details as thanks for doing this.
    • 有 will brag while 清 is there, but he won’t fill him in after that.
• They plan to escape to Ooejima.
• 清 offers to help with anything they need construction wise if the houses are in disrepair.
• They get to Ooejima and 大 still isn’t sure if he really believes 勝太郎 is 有, but he can’t abandon him anymore. If there’s any chance this is 有, he needs to protect him. He can’t fail him again.
  • And if he’s not 有, he hopes 有 will punish him for it in the next life. He’ll sincerely apologise for making such a mistake.
• 大 does try to insist they sleep in separate rooms and resists 有 trying to call them a couple.
• He heard 有 crying during the night and when he asked, 有 complained he’d been so lonely he couldn’t stop crying.
  • Also heard a weird clicking sound, not sure what that could be.
  • 大 let him stay in his room after that.
    • Their futons have gradually been shifting closer together, though 大 isn’t mentioning it.
      • One of the futons has disappeared.
• 清 comes over to deliver some materials (and angle for the threesome)

  清: Shouta-chan is as gorgeous as ever

  有 watching 清 sail back: I hope he falls off his boat.

• The first time 清 visits, he overloads his boat and breaks the motor.
