• 竹 is a performer with his bonsly.
  • His bonsly isn’t actually that good for his performance.
    • He’s meant to toss it like a skittle, but the poor little guy is already crying, he can’t bring himself to do it.
• They’ve been travelling performers for a while with little success.
• Little aipom starts following them around and messing with their show.
• 竹 initially annoyed by it, feeling it’s ruining their performance, but then it keeps showing up and their shows do better because everyone enjoys watching the aipom mess with them.
• Eventually camping out in the burned tower in Ecruteak and aipom approaches them outside of a performance for the first time.
• 竹 is uneasy about giving food to a wild pokemon - especially when he doesn’t have much for himself.
• Gives in, assuming the aipom would just steal it if he didn’t.
• The aipom steals the rest of his food leaving him with what he was trying to give it.
• Sneaks back around him and switches them again, giving him back his food and taking the piece he was eating out his mouth.
• 竹 is still annoyed but, maybe this aipom isn’t all bad.
  • And he’s definitely brought in good money.
  • And he knows some pretty strong moves for just being some wild aipom.
• Aipom that very clearly has TM moves.
• It takes 竹 a long time to connect the dots that he must have had a trainer at some point.
• Aipom is extremely clingy and expects to be carried everywhere.
  • But then he’ll also run off and come back having caused trouble for someone who’s about to be real pissed when they see 竹 trying to leave town with that aipom.
• Aipom that uses his tail to try and copy signs.
