汐 revives his poor eyeless 竹
竹 doesn’t even have eyes to cry about how he’ll never see his daughter again now. He can’t even talk to her without them.
汐 trying to do things to cheer him up, but 竹 can’t even see them.
竹 going back to church and the priest won’t even let him in.
- It’s not great that he’s a zombie, but it’s worse that he’s 竹.
  - He thought he was finally free of this guy.
  - He just told Shigeko that Yo-chan is dead.
- And 汐 is acting as his seeing eye monkey and the priest isn’t big on whatever demon that is either.
汐 ends up killing the priest.
汐 trying to feed the priest’s brain to 竹.
- 汐 ends up eating most of it.
  - He’s sorry, it was really good. 竹 would know that if he’d actually eat it when offered.
竹 who’s trying to find some other guide so he can be free of 汐, but no one will listen to him.
汐 offering to let 竹 eat his eye to feel better.
He’s genuinely sorry about killing him. 竹 was going to kill him, so he felt there was no other way.
- He never disliked 竹.
- He’ll take responsibility and look after 竹 forever. Whatever he needs, 汐 will do his best to provide.
  - 汐 finally understood 竹 had just wanted to go home to his daughter so he’d tried to make it happen but people keep trying to stop them and then things get even more out of hand.
  - He won’t leave even when 竹 asks.
竹 hearing 汐 crying in his room one night cause he’s genuinely upset because 竹 hates him and he doesn’t feel he can fix it even though he’s trying his best.
竹 gives in and ends up comforting him.
- He really did think he hated 汐 for everything, but hearing him cry like that makes him calm down.
- Spiteful as he is, 汐 was right. He was going to kill him. And 汐 was scared. And he’s been trying to fix it.
- He’s just a kid (that fucking killed him)
汐 starts to calm down, cuddling into 竹’s chest.
- Hands wandering to 竹’s massive ass.
  - It’s the only real meat on him to offer comfort!
  - 竹 chooses to believe it’s just a comfort thing.
汐 holds his hand everywhere to guide him.
竹 is so reliant on 汐 guiding him, he doesn’t even realise he has better senses as a zombie he could be using to get around.
- Takes him a whole year to actually start trying.
  - 汐 gets upset 竹 won’t hold his hand. He’s gonna cry about it.
    - 竹 is unfortunately weak to 汐’s crying and will give in to him.
      - He’s weak to cute things (even if he can’t see them because they ate his eyes.)
汐 wishes he’d had an actual chance to savour 竹’s eyes. They were really tasty, but it was kind of a desperate situation.
汐 telling 竹 all the history/legends of people falling in love with the undead.
竹 keeps forgetting he’s a zombie now.

竹: That’s scary, why did you bring that up.

汐 finds it really cute when 竹 gets scared because he gets clingy.

汐: You’re undead.

竹, terrified: DON’T SAY THAT. YOU SHOULDN’T BULLY YOUR ELDERS.

竹 will eat some people but only if 汐 doesn’t mention its people he’s eating.
- He knows that’s what it is but he can’t keep it down if 汐 mentions it. As long as 汐 says nothing, he can pretend it’s something else long enough to digest it.
竹 won’t admit it but he’s pretty happy having a warm place to sleep and a guy who makes his meals and feeds him (all free)
Sometimes 竹 oens his mouth waiting to be fed without 汐 telling him to and 汐 will tease him because he’s so well trained.

汐: I was thinking you might want to do it yourself today, but if you insist.

汐: Takeshiba-san knows where his mouth is, right?
- He’s lying, he was always going to feed him, but he’s too cute not to tease.
- This is a sign that 竹 does love him, isn’t it?
竹 getting insecure, feeling like 汐 sees him more like a novelty he’ll one day grow tired of.
- Thinking 汐 only took him in because he felt sorry for him and curious about zombies.
  - He’s an old man and he’s dead and he has no eyes and his dick doesn’t work (not related to being a zombie) and he has IBS (still not a zombie thing) and he keeps relying on 汐 so he’s gotta get tired of him eventually.
竹 tries to be more independent and feed himself while 汐 is doing somethign else but he keeps losing his chopsticks and dropping things and he’s starting to get worked up because maybe he really can’t feed himself after all.
- 汐 comes back in and is absolutely horrified seeing 竹 trying to feed himself without him.
