Souta’s best friend from high school. He was big into sports but never excelled with a particular team. He always got good grades and got into law school.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, he is rice.
Background
Section titled “Background”Hideo was a free-spirited teen that loved sports but never particularly settled into a particular game. He only ever played casually despite constant pressure to settle into one. He was a rigid member of the Go-Home Club, preferring to spend his time loitering.
After graduating high school, he got into law school and has settled into being a serious student, though he still makes time to hit the gym and hang out with his friends.
Personality
Section titled “Personality”Highly social and works well in teams, but values his alone time a lot. Things tend to wash off him easily; when he realised he liked guys, he just sort of accepted it straight away. He’s not particularly worried by things and has a strong belief that things will work out and justice will always find its way.

Relationships
Section titled “Relationships”Hideo’s best friend. They’ve known each other since elementary school when they were both really into trading cards and never grew apart, even when their interests differed. He’s never been the type to tease Souta, believing he can’t take that kind of friendship.
Hideo only really knows Ema as a tagalong to Souta. They’ve never been particularly close but they can hold a conversation fine. He thinks she’s pretty cool but still wouldn’t go out of his way to talk to her if Souta wasn’t there.
