For the first while, he kept Kieran locked in his flat, claiming to be his big brother, their parents had recently passed, and that Kieran couldn’t go to school because there weren’t any schools for disabled kids in the area. Few questions were asked after that, but Rhett was able to pass them off with believable answers.
